  • Happy Dog 201

    Let’s Keep Building Better!

Prerequisite: Happy Dog 101 or trainer approval

Up your a Happy Dog game to the next level! You’ll be offered tools for your dog that will maintain engagement during training sessions, along with understanding strategies for changing unwanted behaviors by replacing them with better choices.

We will revisit the training we covered in HD101 and then launch into new games that will include off-leash skills for place stays, distance recalls, along with focus through distractions and a few fun tricks.

Set yourself and your pups up for long term success by continuing to build value in your relationship.

  • Sporty Foundations 101

Are you considering finding a dog sport for you and your pup to play as a team together? Wondering what kinds of training might be involved or how to get started off on the right paw? Sporty Foundations is a great place to begin!

We will chat about ways you can teach your dog to engage with you in fun ways, by encouraging them to find the joy in training. Sporty Dogs love to move their bodies and use their minds, so let’s channel that energy to create the platform for a well rounded K9 athlete.

Topics such as body awareness, impulse control, targeting exercises, shaping behaviors, marker cues will be addressed. If those are foreign word to you, you’re in luck! We will be covering these bases together in a supportive, friendly class.

Prerequisites: Dogs should be a minimum of 6mos old, comfortable in a group class environment without being aggressive, and have basic leash manners. If you have questions about eligibility, please message HDL for instructor approval.

Next class starts Monday, April 7th at 7pm. This class runs for 5-weeks.
